If you follow me on Instagram you know how much I love buffalo check. When I was asked to host an ice cream party with Tillamook, finding a creative way to customze the ice cream cones themselves was top of my list. With the help of my amazing graphic designer, we created these DIY Ice Cream Cone Sleeves in black & white check, navy & white check and also included a blank template. You can customize the blank template as you would like for your party. Or you can allow guests to color their own design and then wrap their ice cream cone in their own custom creation. Print the template of your choice on a light cardstock. I found THIS cardstock to be a perfect weight. After printing, cut the wrappers out following along the dotted lines.
Using glue tape (or dot adhesive), run a line of tape down one unprinted side of the wrapper. Wrap around the waffle cone and secure.
You can also use this template on a sugar cone. Just cut about .5″ from the bottom of the wrapper following the curve and then cut about .5″ from one side, then glue and wrap.
Hope you enjoy these printable wrappers as much as I enjoyed creating them!
